Hi Citylife,
Here is your weekly email to keep you up to date with everything happening in the life of our church.

Our Global Offering is an over-and-above offering separate from our regular tithing.
1. Ask God in prayer what He wants you to give over the next twelve months for Global Missions.
2. Write it down on the bottom of the Global Offering card.
3. Tear it off and place it in the Offering Box.
4. Pin the top half of the card on the Globe.
5. Actively trust God for His provision.
6. Give!
SUNDAY MESSAGE SUMMARY
Following Jesus Beyond Our Comfort Zone - Andrew Thomas
On Sunday, Andrew spoke about what it means to follow Jesus beyond comfort. He shared how, as a kid, reading stories about missionaries like David Livingstone was both inspiring and confronting. Livingstone’s life showed that following Jesus often means choosing the hard road—not the easy one.
If you have men who will only come if they know there is a good road, I don't want them. I want men who will come if there is no road at all.
Andrew pointed to Genesis 12, where God calls Abram to leave behind his country, tribe, and family. It was a call to step away from everything safe and familiar. But through Abram’s obedience, God began a plan to bless the whole world, a plan that leads all the way to Jesus and the Church.
This same calling is for every believer today, not just for missionaries. It’s for anyone who wants to make a real difference for Jesus. Andrew spoke honestly about life in Cambodia—how it’s been full of challenges, not comfort. But that’s not the point. The point is loving Jesus enough to say yes, even when it’s hard.
Discomfort is the price of admission for a meaningful life.
The call was clear: pray, connect, give, and go. Pray specifically, connect regularly, give sacrificially, and go to visit and be part of what is happening. Missions isn’t for the few—it’s for all of us. Jesus doesn’t promise comfort, but He does promise to be with us always.
