Hi Citylife,
Here is your weekly email to keep you up to date with everything happening in the life of our church.
SUNDAY MESSAGE
Global Missions - GO
This week we heard from Jill, Jono and Pat about their experience with global missions and what God did in their heart when they went on a short-term trip to meet with and work alongside our fieldworkers in different countries.
Given our desire to protect the identity of those we partner with in North Asia, we won’t be providing a summary or a video link of the interview with Matt this week, but I encourage you to reflect on what was shared and consider your own heart for global missions.
How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? And how can anyone preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!”
Jesus’ last command, as recorded by Matthew, was for His disciples to go and make disciples of all nations. For some, that means going to another nation, making that place home, and doing the work of the Kingdom. For most of us, that means going to our neighbour, a work colleague, a friend at uni and doing the loving work of the Kingdom.
As a church engaged in Global Mission, how do we ‘go’?
GO in prayer.
GO in giving.
GO in person.
GO in prayer. Regularly pray for the field workers and the nations they serve in.
GO in giving. Commit to regularly giving over and above your normal tithe.
GO in person. Decide to join one of our annual trips and see for yourself what God is doing!

Discussion Questions
If you could travel to see God at work in another nation, where would that be and why?
Spend some time praying for those we partner with. See our global page (https://www.citylife129.com/global) for specific prayer points for our partners.
Encourage each other to seek God in your responses to going in prayer, giving, and in person.
